Torch wrench is an instrument which is used for the application of required amount of torque to a fastener, for instance a bolt or nut. The tool comes handy in places where the screws and bolt tightening is crucial. The operator will be able to measure the torque applied and thereby match the specifications based on the particular application. This provides proper loading and tension of all parts.
Torch wrench has its range starting from 40 Nm to 200 Nm (30 to 150 lbf.ft). The accuracy of the torque measured is about plus or minus 3 percentage of the reading. The wrench can be adjusted for its locking and unlocking. The torque wrenches are made from heat treated chrome vanadium steel and is durable. The overall length of the instrument is 14 inches. The only practical way of measuring the bolt tension is by the use of torque wrenches.
